International Men’s Day 2025
- UNMASKED Panel
Why This Dialogue Matters
To mark International Men’s Day 2025, SHER FOUNDATION, Australia’s first multicultural men’s mental health charity, is hosting a panel that brings together leaders across health, government, academia and community to examine:
The urgent and under-recognised challenge of multicultural men’s mental health.
Masculinity, vulnerability, and the cultural cost of silence
Community-led and trauma-aware models that centre cultural safety
Wednesday 19th November 2025 | 9:30am - 12:30pm | SYDNEY CBD (VENUE TBC)
Theme: UNMASKED
Unmasking the pressures, expectations, and exclusions faced by multicultural men in Australia — and reimagining systems that truly see, support and include them.
This year’s IMD theme invites reflection, honesty, and imagination — from personal identity to systemic reform. In the spirit of International Men’s Day, we ask:
What are the masks men wear to survive — and who gets left behind when those masks are never questioned?
